Boat Covers UK
UK Boat Covers is based in Carterton, Oxfordshire. We supply replacement cover fabric by post across the UK. We assess your existing cover, retained supports and fastenings before agreeing the work. Cover fabric only; no new supporting frames or framework installation.
Contact Ryan with photographs of the cover fitted to your boat before posting anything. Agree the cover area, suitable sample, fabric, windows, openings, fixing layout and quote first. If you have no usable old cover, ask us to assess your photographs and proposed measurements; measurements alone may not provide a suitable pattern.

How the Postal Copy Service Works
Agree Suitability and Your Quote
Contact Ryan with photographs of the cover fitted to your boat before posting anything. Agree the cover area, suitable sample, fabric, windows, openings, fixing layout and quote first. If you have no usable old cover, ask us to assess your photographs and proposed measurements; measurements alone may not provide a suitable pattern.
Post the Agreed Sample
Once Ryan confirms the sample and posting instructions, remove and pack the old cover. Include the agreed job details. Confirm the current delivery address and sample-return arrangements before sending it.
Confirm the Replacement Details
A suitable old cover provides a pattern for the replacement fabric. Confirm panels, material, colour, windows, openings and fastenings; stretched or damaged cloth may need additional details rather than a direct copy.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much do boat covers cost?
An individual quote is required for the agreed replacement-cover specification. The price depends on the cover area, pattern, fabric, windows, openings and fittings. Check the model catalogue for applicable starting prices. No VAT is added.
How do I order a boat cover without visiting you?
Contact Ryan with photographs of the cover fitted to your boat before posting anything. Agree the cover area, suitable sample, fabric, windows, openings, fixing layout and quote first. If you have no usable old cover, ask us to assess your photographs and proposed measurements; measurements alone may not provide a suitable pattern. A suitable old cover can be used as a pattern through our UK-wide postal service. We aim to dispatch within 6 working days of receiving your old cover or confirmed measurements; delivery time is additional.
What materials do you use for boat covers?
Marine-grade acrylic canvas and PVC are options for the agreed cover area. Choose the specification according to its retained supports, windows, fastening line and how you use and stow the cover. We do not make whole-boat or winter-storage covers.
Do you fit boat covers?
We supply replacement cover fabric for suitable existing supports and fittings. We do not supply new supporting frames or provide on-site fitting or framework installation. Discuss the fitting requirements and any advice you need with Ryan before ordering.
How long does it take to make a boat cover?
We aim to dispatch within 6 working days of receiving your old cover or confirmed measurements; delivery time is additional. Agree the specification, quote and sample before posting.
Can you make covers for any boat?
We assess replacement fabric for a range of narrowboats, widebeams, cruisers and other boats. A model name alone does not establish the right pattern or fittings. Send photographs of your own boat and existing cover so Ryan can confirm suitability before you order.
What's the difference between a tonneau cover and a cockpit cover?
These names can overlap. A tonneau usually closes an open cockpit or deck area; a cockpit cover may be shaped around screens, instruments and seating. The cover area, retained supports and actual fastening line matter more than the label. Send fitted photographs to confirm the replacement you need.
Do you repair existing boat covers?
General boat-cover repairs start from £70. Send fitted photographs and close-ups of the fault so Ryan can assess whether the surrounding fabric is sound enough for repair. Agree the work and quote before posting.
