How the Postal Copy Service Works
The postal copy service is the simplest way to replace a worn or damaged boat cover without any measurements, site visits, or guesswork. The principle is straightforward: you post your existing cover to us, we use it as a pattern to make an exact copy in new marine-grade canvas, and we return both the original and the new cover to you — typically within six working days.
Step-by-Step Process
- Remove your existing cover from the boat. It can be in any condition — torn, stained, faded. Even a badly damaged cover gives us the shape we need.
- Pack it loosely in a box or large bag. Include your name, phone number, boat make/model, and your fabric/colour preference.
- Post it to us at: UK Boat Covers, Carterton, Oxfordshire, OX18 3HP. We recommend a tracked service.
- We pattern and make — we lay your cover flat, trace every panel, and cut and sew a new one in your chosen material. Every detail is reproduced: windows, zips, press studs, ventilation panels.
- Return by courier — your new cover and original are dispatched by tracked courier within six working days. Return postage is included in the price.

Your original is returned in the same parcel. No VAT is charged on any order.
