Widebeam Narrowboat Covers
Widebeam narrowboats — typically 10–14ft wide rather than the standard narrowboat beam of 6ft 10in — are increasingly common on UK canals and rivers. Their greater beam means cover requirements differ from standard narrowboat covers: cratch covers are wider, tonneau sections are broader, and side cloths are longer. We make all cover types for widebeam boats, sized precisely to your boat's beam and length.

Widebeam cratch covers need to span a wider opening than standard narrowboat designs, which creates additional challenges in achieving a taut fit without sagging at the centre. We use additional internal support attachments and heavier fabric weights for larger cratch openings to address this. Widebeam cratch covers from £549.
Widebeam Tonneau Sets
A full widebeam tonneau cover set protects the entire roof and deck area. Because of the greater width, widebeam tonneau sections need to be stronger and more securely attached than narrowboat versions to resist wind loading. We use 850gsm marine PVC as standard for widebeam tonneaus. Full tonneau sets (four sections for a standard 60ft widebeam) from £949.
