Types of RIB Cover

Rigid inflatable boats require specialist covers that accommodate the inflatable collar as well as the rigid hull. We make full hull covers, console covers, and bow covers — each bespoke to your RIB's specific dimensions, console position, and collar profile.

Full RIB Hull Covers

A full hull cover protects the entire boat from stem to stern, including the inflatable collar. The cover works around the collar profile — usually with a shaped hem that tucks beneath it — preventing UV damage to the hypalon or PVC fabric and protecting the rigid hull from weather and bird fouling. These are the best choice for RIBs stored outdoors over winter or kept on a mooring during the season. From £429, no VAT.

Console Covers

A console cover fits over the helm console and steering position only, protecting the instruments, chart plotter, VHF radio, and helm seat from UV and rain when the boat is in the water. Quick to put on and take off for regular users. From £289.

Bow Covers

A bow cover protects the forward section of the RIB — often the area most exposed when moored head-to-wind. Custom shaped to your RIB's bow profile. From £319.

We make covers for Zodiac, Avon, Gemini, Honwave, Ribcraft, Tornado, and many other makes. We also cover older second-hand RIBs where no manufacturer pattern exists — in these cases, posting your existing cover is the most accurate approach. If you have no cover at all, photos and measurements of the console and hull profile allow us to quote for a new cover built from our standard templates.

Materials for Marine Environments

RIBs used in coastal and tidal waters benefit from marine PVC's full waterproofing and UV resistance. For RIBs stored in covered locations or used inland, acrylic canvas provides good UV protection with the added benefit of breathability — reducing condensation beneath the cover.
