Plan Your Cratch Covers Enquiry for Wakefield

Replacement cratch covers for Wakefield boat owners are supplied by post from our Carterton, Oxfordshire workshop. Send fitted photographs before ordering so Ryan can assess the actual cover, supports and fastening layout.

A cratch cover protects the separate bow cratch area. Replacement fabric needs to match the retained cratch board or supports, cabin attachment and existing fastening line. It is different from a stern pram hood.

Contact Ryan with photographs of the cover fitted to your boat before posting anything. Agree the cover area, suitable sample, fabric, windows, openings, fixing layout and quote first. If you have no usable old cover, ask us to assess your photographs and proposed measurements; measurements alone may not provide a suitable pattern.

The service operates by post from our Carterton, Oxfordshire workshop. We supply replacement cover fabric for suitable retained supports and fittings. New supporting frames, on-site measuring, fitting and framework installation are not included.

We aim to dispatch within 6 working days of receiving your old cover or confirmed measurements; delivery time is additional.

Agree the Postal Order Before Sending a Sample

  1. Agree Suitability and Your Quote

  2. Post the Agreed Sample

Once Ryan confirms the sample and posting instructions, remove and pack the old cover. Include the agreed job details. Confirm the current delivery address and sample-return arrangements before sending it.

  3. Confirm the Replacement Details

A suitable old cover provides a pattern for the replacement fabric. Confirm panels, material, colour, windows, openings and fastenings; stretched or damaged cloth may need additional details rather than a direct copy.
