A pram hood is a fabric shelter fitted over a narrowboat's stern steering or rear deck area. Many designs fold away on an existing frame. Window positions, openings and clearance need to suit the retained frame and the boat's layout.
We supply replacement fabric for suitable existing pram-hood frames. Send Ryan photos of your fitted cover, frame, windows and fixing points for assessment. A suitable old cover can be used as a template through our postal copy service. We do not supply or install new supporting frames.
Agree the Pattern, Fabric and Fittings
Discuss acrylic or PVC according to the cover design, use, pattern and fittings. Window size, access panels and fixing positions must suit your retained frame and boat. If you have no usable old cover, ask Ryan to assess the available pattern and measurements before ordering.
