About Seamaster Boat Covers
Seamaster boats were built in the Thames Valley from the late 1950s onwards, initially under the name Thames Marine before trading as Seamaster. They produced an extensive range of GRP river cruisers that became a familiar sight on the Thames, Norfolk Broads, and later on canal hire fleets across England. The Seamaster 813, 820, and 840 (designated by their waterline length in centimetres) are among the most commonly seen on UK waterways today. Their durable GRP construction and practical layouts have kept many examples in active use decades after production ended, and bespoke replacement covers are regularly required when original canvas degrades or is lost.

How do I order a replacement cover for my Seamaster?
You have two options. You can measure your boat yourself following our online measurement guide, then send us the dimensions by email or through the contact form. Alternatively, use our postal copy service — send us your old worn cover and we make an exact replacement, then post the new cover back to you.
Our Seamaster boat covers are made to the exact dimensions of each model using marine-grade acrylic canvas, with double-stitched seams throughout for lasting protection. We hold patterns for many Seamaster models and can produce covers for any variant in the range from your measurements or a postal copy of your worn cover. Each cover is fitted with appropriate fastenings for the model — bungee cord for tonneau covers, press-studs or a zip for canopies — and dispatched by tracked courier to any UK address. The full process from receiving your measurements to posting the finished cover typically takes around 6 working days.
Ordering a replacement Seamaster cover is straightforward. Contact us with your model name and we will check whether we hold a pattern for it. If a pattern is on file, we will confirm the key measurements we need from you. If we do not hold a pattern, you can either measure your boat yourself using our online measurement guide and send us the dimensions by email, or post us your old worn cover and we will use it as a cutting template for an exact replacement. All covers are made to order in our UK workshop using marine-grade acrylic canvas and dispatched by tracked delivery direct to your door. We aim to complete every order within 6 working days of receiving your measurements or old cover, and we deliver to any address in the UK at no extra charge.
