Recent Installations
Below is a summary of some of the recent covers we have made for customers across the UK. Every project is bespoke — made from a pattern taken from the customer's own boat or copied directly from an existing cover using our postal service.
River and Canal Boats
We regularly produce cratch covers, pram hoods, and winter storage covers for narrowboats and canal cruisers. Recent work includes a full cratch-and-pram set for a 60ft widebeam on the Kennet and Avon Canal in dark green PVC, a replacement tonneau cover for a Shetland 535 on the Thames at Henley, and a set of side-cloths for a traditional narrowboat on the Llangollen Canal.
GRP Cruisers
Our most frequently produced item is the full canopy for GRP cruisers — particularly Hardy, Viking, Freeman, and Shetland models. Recent projects include a three-panel acrylic canopy for a Hardy 20 Pilot kept at Chichester Marina, a cockpit cover for a Viking 20 on the Norfolk Broads, and a pair of matching tonneau covers for a Freeman 27 on the River Medway.
Coastal and Offshore Boats
For boats kept in tidal waters or coastal marinas, we recommend marine-grade PVC over acrylic — it handles UV exposure and salt air more reliably over multi-year timescales. Recent coastal work includes winter covers for a pair of Seamaster 25s at Poole Harbour, a cockpit cover for a Norman 25 at Gosport, and a custom cratch board and cover set for a Dutch barge on the River Hamble.
